Word is Saints WR Lance Moore has impressed observers in training camp. Moore had a chance to shine early while WRs Marques Colston, who has since returned to practice, and Robert Meachem sat out while recovering from surgery. Moore struggled with injuries in 2009 and made just 14 catches in the seven regular-season games in which he played, but the Saints re-signed him to a one-year, $1.759 million tender in the offseason. The fifth-year veteran led the team in receptions (79) and receiving touchdowns (10) in '08 and is looking to prove he wasn't a one-year wonder. "(Moore is) consistent and he's a guy who knows what we're doing," head coach Sean Payton said. "It's good to see him healthy. He's somebody that really has a great grasp on what we are trying to do, and rarely makes a mental error." Meachem is expected back soon, however, and Moore will have plenty of competition for targets.
