The Bills on Friday agreed to terms with 2010 first-round draft pick RB C.J. Spiller on a five-year contract worth $25 million, including $20.8 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.com.

Spiller, the ninth selection overall, was a standout during his four-year career at Clemson, culminating in a senior season in which he had 216-1,212-12 rushing, 36-503-4 receiving, 23-755-4 on kickoff returns and 8-210-1 on punt returns. His 2,680 all-purpose yards last season broke an ACC record, and his 7,588 career yards rank second in Division I history. A unanimous All-American in 2009, he was the first running back taken in April's draft.

In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that the 5-11, 196-pound Spiller is a "dynamite playmaker with rare field speed" and "sees cut-back lanes and shows great balance to kick through arm tackles and string moves together."

Spiller is expected to report to Bills training camp on Friday. Seahawks OT Russell Okung, the sixth overall pick in 2010, is the only first-rounder yet to sign.
