The Cardinals made some adjustments on the corners Friday, signing former Packers CB Trevor Ford while releasing CB Rashad Barksdale.
The 6-0, 188-pound Ford appeared in three games and was inactive for four others for the Packers last season after being signed from their practice squad on Nov. 24. Ford had spent the first 10 games of the 2009 season on Green Bay’s practice squad.
Ford was originally signed by the Packers as a rookie free agent in 2009 out of Troy. He was a two-year starter at Troy after transferring from Florida State. He started all 14 games as a senior in ’08 and finished with 49 tackles (43 solos), six passes defensed and two forced fumbles. Ford was released by the Packers on June 18.
