The Giants may be interested in bringing back WR Plaxico Burress.
Giants GM Jerry Reese told the New York Post that the team "definitely will investigate it" when Burress is released from the Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome, N.Y., which is expected to happen in the next 2-3 weeks.
Burress, 32, is serving a two-year sentence for a gun possession conviction, and he's likely to face discipline from commissioner Roger Goodell for a November 2008 nightclub incident during which he accidentally shot himself while reaching for a gun inside his sweatpants.
Burress recorded 70 receptions for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns during the Giants' Super Bowl-winning season of 2007.
