After bypassing his required conditioning drill over the weekend, Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth decided to give it another go Monday morning.

However, after three back-and-forth sprints, the two-time All-Pro had to cut short the test when his knee began to bother him.

"That's one of the reasons he's not out there practicing with the team," Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said. "You've got to be in certain shape to go through a practice, and that knee after three sprints back and forth couldn't go any further."

Haynesworth failed his first test Thursday when he took an extended bathroom break before finishing, and he failed again Friday when he failed to post a sufficient time. Soreness in his knee kept Haynesworth from attempting the test Saturday or Sunday.
