The Browns have come to terms with first-round pick CB Joe Haden on a five-year deal worth a maximum of $50 million, with $26 million guaranteed, including a $12 million signing bonus, according to reports by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and NFL Network.
Haden, the seventh overall pick in April, will compete for a starting role with Eric Wright and Sheldon Brown, and if he doesn't break into the starting lineup right away, he figures to get considerable playing time in the team's nickel and dime defenses.
Haden missed only one full-squad practice.
