Houston has signed its first-round draft choice, CB Kareem Jackson, to a five-year contract, PFW's Texans correspondent, John McClain, is reporting on his Twitter account. Details of the deal weren't immediately available.
Jackson was the 20th overall selection in the April draft, and he is expected to take over the starting RCB job across from promising second-year LCB Glover Quin, who didn't allow a touchdown pass after he became a starter in Week Four last season, according to McClain.
The Texans allowed their top cornerback last season, Dunta Robinson, to depart in free agency this offseason, prompting an overhaul of the secondary.
