Cowboys WR Dez Bryant will be out 4-6 weeks after suffering a high right ankle sprain near the end of practice Friday. That means the first-round pick could miss the rest of training camp and possibly be ready for the Sept. 12 season opener at Washington.

The injury occurred when Bryant got tangled up with CB Orlando Scandrick on a pass thrown behind him on the next-to-last play of the day.

Bryant was the first of the 2010 first-round picks to sign a contract, inking a five-year deal worth $11.8 million, with $8.6 million guaranteed, on July 22, enabling him to report to camp on time July 24.

Bryant had been impressive through the first week of camp, making both routine and spectacular catches as well as returning kicks.
