The Dolphins added depth to their defensive line late Wednesday, according to NFL.com. Former Saints DE Charles Grant reportedly signed a two-year deal that could be worth up to $4.5 million.
Grant was cut by the Saints in March after eight seasons with the team. He's likely to continue playing defensive end in Miami, although he'll be going from a 4-3 to a 3-4 base defense.
The 31-year-old tore his triceps twice in the past two seasons, and he missed the playoffs last season. Grant has made 47 sacks in his career.
