The Raiders have locked up their top pick in this year's draft.
ILB Rolando McClain, the eighth overall selection, signed a five-year, $40 million deal with $23 million guaranteed, according to an ESPN report. McClain will report to training camp Thursday and is expected to open the season as Oakland's starting middle linebacker.
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that McClain is a "big-framed, long-limbed playmaker who is far and away the top inside linebacker available in this year's (draft) class."
