The Broncos announced they signed first-round pick Tim Tebow on Thursday. Terms of the deal were not released.

Tebow, the 25th overall pick in this year's draft, missed the first two practices of training camp before the Broncos and his agent, Jimmy Sexton, came to an agreement.

The Heisman trophy winner in 2007, Tebow will enter camp as Denver's third-string quarterback behind starter Kyle Orton and primary backup Brady Quinn.

In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Tebow "has a special mental makeup and a tireless work ethic, and if he cannot win a starting quarterback job, could bring value as a short-yardage/goal-line runner and developmental H-back."
