Golden Tate, the Seahawks' second-round pick, has agreed to terms with the team. Tate, considered by many to be the front-runner to start at split end for Seattle after a very productive career at Notre Dame, broke the news on his Twitter account.

The Seattle Times reported that Tate’s contract is a four-year deal worth more than $3 million, with a $1 million signing bonus.

Tate’s signing leaves only two Seahawks rookies unsigned — first-round picks Russell Okung and Earl Thomas. In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel expert Nolan Naworcki wrote that Tate “must show he can beat press coverage and could struggle to duplicate his perimeter success in the pros.”
