Rams rookie CB Jerome Murphy was arrested in Tampa, Fla. on Saturday and charged with a misdemeanor count of driving without a valid license, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

Murphy, a third-round pick in the 2010 draft, was booked into county jail and released two hours later on $250 bond. He was stopped near the University of South Florida campus, where he played collegiately.

Murphy, who signed a four-year contract last month, is unlikely to face any type of league penalty. He's expected to provide secondary depth for St. Louis this season.
