The Patriots have announced the signings of two seventh-round picks, DT Kade Weston and QB Zac Robinson. Terms of the deals were not released.
A defensive tackle from Georgia, Weston was the 248th overall pick. He made 78 tackles and had four sacks in 20 starts in his college career.
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, PFW personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that the 6-5, 315-pound Weston was "a teaser who did not distinguish himself until the latter part of his senior season, but has an NFL body, shows flashes and has a chance to be a better pro than a college player if the light comes on."
Robinson, the 250th overall pick, started for most of his final three seasons at Oklahoma State and finished his career as the all-time leader in passing and total offense, amassing 10,175 yards in total offense and 8,317 passing yards.
Nawrocki also wrote that Robinson is an "athletic, run-around QB" who "has a thin build" but is a "great competitor."
