The Titans and RB Chris Johnson have agreed to a restructuring of his contract,, ESPN and NFL Network reported Monday.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via Twitter that the Titans will be "moving up a portion" of a $2.5 million salary escalator for Johnson. According to NFL Network, Johnson will receive more than $2 million this season., which first reported the agreement between the Titans and Johnson, noted that Johnson's deal will continue to run through 2012, as did ESPN.

Johnson, who rushed for 2,006 yards in 2010, has been seeking a new contract.
