The Cardinals announced Thursday they have agreed to terms with WR Andre Roberts, a third-round draft pick.

Roberts, who is 5-11, 195 pounds, was the 88th overall pick last April.

In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki noted that Roberts "is not an elite athlete but takes pride in his craft, will work to get better and has a skill set to succeed as a slot receiver and punt returner." Nawrocki also noted that Roberts "has a lot of upside."

Roberts scored 41 touchdowns in his college career, which leaves him ranked second in school history.

The Cardinals released DE Ryan Kees to make room for Roberts on the roster.
