In an interview this week with PFW, Ravens OLB-DE Terrell Suggs, who worked out on his own during the Ravens' organized team activities, said he believed undertaking his own workout regimen will have him ready for training camp in late July. "I'm trying to do a little bit of everything just to make sure my body is right," Suggs told PFW. "I feel like my body has to be at a certain weight and look a certain way by the time I show back up at camp. The way I was going (in Baltimore), it's possible that could've happened, but it just wasn't going at my pace, so, like I said, I just came back to Phoenix to speed up the process a bit." Suggs, who attended the team's mandatory minicamp in May, has used mixed-martial-arts training to stay in shape and has worked out at Arizona Combat Sports, a gym in Tempe, Ariz. "It worked. It's definitely tiring," he told PFW of his workouts. "I got a newfound respect for those dudes. An hour workout feels like two hours on the practice field." Suggs said he would like to play at 265 pounds this season.
