Eagles QB Michael Vick has been barred from traveling outside of Pennsylvania by probation officials following a shooting at his birthday party last month, Vick's spokeswoman told NBC-10 television in Philadelphia.

Vick has reportedly missed two scheduled appearences this weekend. He was supposed to attend a youth football camp in Raleigh, N.C., and also missed his own golf tournament in Atlanta.

A prosecutor said this week that Vick wasn't involved in the shooting at his party in Virginia Beach, Va., but he was involved in a dispute before the incident.

There have been conflicting reports about Vick's future with the Eagles since the shooting. Some have suggested that the team is strongly considering releasing him, while others have cited Eagles sources saying he's not in danger of being cut. The team issued a statement refuting a report that it was considering Vick's release.
