Ravens rookie OL Ramon Harewood and veteran CB Walt Harris have officially signed with the club, the team's Web site reported Wednesday.
The 6-6, 341-pound Harewood, a sixth-round pick from Morehouse College, figures as a reserve tackle in his rookie season. In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Harewood, 23, "has rare size" but is "very raw and still learning the game."
Harris, 35, agreed with the Ravens on a contract on June 24 and has passed a physical, the club's Web site reported Wednesday. He will compete to be a backup at cornerback. Harris, who has 35 career interceptions, missed the 2009 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last May.
