Seahawks RB Quinton Ganther was arrested Saturday morning in California on suspicion of DUI.
Ganther was arrested by the California Highway Patrol around 3:15 a.m. Saturday while driving near downtown Sacramento and was booked into Sacramento County jail, according to the Seattle Times. He posted bail and was released from jail later in the day. A court appearance is a scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento.
The Seahawks released a statement saying they were aware of the situation and were gathering information.
Ganther was signed as a free agent in March after playing for Washington last season. He was expected to compete for a role as a backup running back and special-teams player.
