Ravens rookie TE Ed Dickson, a third-round pick from Oregon, has agreed on a three-deal with Baltimore, the club's official Web site reported Friday.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Dickson is likely to be one of the backups behind starting TE Todd Heap this season. Dickson, 22, caught 42 passes for 551 yards and six TDs in his final season at Oregon.

PFW personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki, writing in PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, said that Dickson "(is) best split wide working against air and could become a pass-catching weapon detached from the line if he can assimilate to a pro-style offense."
