The Lions have announced they have signed free-agent CB Dré Bly, who played four seasons with the team previously.

Bly signed with the Lions in 2003 and played with the team through the’06 season. He was traded to the Broncos with a sixth-round pick in a deal for OT George Foster and RB Tatum Bell.

Last season, Bly, 33, played for the 49ers and had 29 tackles and three intereceptions.

An 11-year veteran, Bly made two Pro Bowls early in his career with the Rams.

The Lions also released CB Paul Pratt.
