The Bengals announced Friday that they have signed WR Dezmon Briscoe, the team's sixth-round draft pick (191st overall). Terms of the deal were undisclosed. He is the first of Cincinnati's 2010 draft selections to sign his contract.
In three seasons at Kansas, Briscoe became the school's all-time leader in receiving yards (3,240), TD catches (31) and 100-yard receiving games (14).
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that the 6-2, 207-pound Briscoe is a "big-framed receiver with good hands and run strength best suited for a West Coast offense."
