The Ravens have agreed to terms with former Rams QB Marc Bulger, a league source told NFL.com. Bulger will reportedly earn $3.8 million, which could rise to $5.3 million if he reaches certain incentives.
Bulger will battle John Beck and Troy Smith for the backup spot behind starter Joe Flacco, with Bulger being the far experienced choice of the three.
Bulger, 33, played nine seasons in St. Louis, but injuries and a weak supporting cast had taken a toll on him in recent years. He missed the last six games of 2009 with a fractured left tibia. The Rams released him in April prior to selecting QB Sam Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick.
