WR Reggie Williams' NFL comeback has hit another snag.

A former top-10 draft pick, Williams was cut late Friday by the Seahawks after trying to resurrect his career close to where he starred in college at Washington.

The team also released WR Victor James and signed draft picks Walter Thurmond, E.J. Wilson and Kam Chancellor. Six of the team's nine draft picks have signed contracts now.

Williams had been out of football for the past year. With the return to health of WRs T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Deion Branch and the emergence of another former top-10 pick, Mike Williams, Reggie Williams ran out of options in Seattle.
