Raiders DE Richard Seymour, given the "exclusive" franchise tag by the club in February, has signed his one-year tender, the club announced Saturday.
The exclusive franchise tag precluded other clubs from negotiating with Seymour.
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Seymour is guaranteed at least $12.398 million in 2010 — the average of the top five salaries paid to defensive ends in 2009 — or the average 2010 salary of the top five highest-paid defensive ends as of the end of restricted free agency, whichever is greater.
Seymour, 30, whom the Patriots traded to Oakland last September, started all 16 games for the Raiders in 2009, recording 47 tackles and four sacks.
