The Ravens and former Cowboys FS Ken Hamlin have agreed on a one-year contract, ESPN reported Thursday.
Hamlin played the previous three seasons with Dallas and earned Pro Bowl honors after intercepting five passes in 2007. The 6-2, 209-pound Hamlin started 12 games for the Cowboys last season and made 52 tackles. Dallas released Hamlin in April.
Hamlin, 29, gives the Ravens another experienced option at safety. FS Ed Reed is recovering from hip surgery, and his availability for training camp is in question.
