Dolphins ILB Tim Dobbins signed a two-year contract extension, according to his agent, David Canter.
Canter made the announcement on Twitter.
Miami acquired Dobbins from the Chargers in a trade on the first day of the draft. The fifth-year veteran made 55 tackles last season, and also had a sack, interception and forced fumble. He's expected to back up Channing Crowder and will contribute on special teams.
