The Titans have agreed on multiyear deals with WR Marc Mariani and DT David Howard, their seventh-round picks, the team announced Tuesday.

The 6-1, 190-pound Mariani played collegiately at Montana and holds the school record for receiving yards (3,018). He is vying for a backup role at wide receiver and can also contribute in the return game on special teams. In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Mariani "(sets) up DBs with savvy and sells his routes" but was "(very) lean and undersized" and "(is) not a blazer.

Howard (6-3, 293) twice earned All-Ivy League honors at Brown. He is contending for a reserve role at tackle.
