The Broncos announced the signing of fifth-round pick Perrish Cox late Wednesday.

Cox, a cornerback, will compete for a spot in the nickel and dime packages this season and has the potential to make an immediate impact. He also can return punts, but does come with character concerns.

In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Cox is "too undisciplined on and off the field, and his talent might not be worth the headache a team incurs by bringing him into the clubhouse."
