The Falcons are still awaiting word from the league on whether DT Jonathan Babineaux will be disciplined for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. Babineaux, Atlanta's top three-technique, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in December 2009, and the team has been concerned about a potential suspension ever since. His off-field issues played a role in the Falcons' decision to draft DT Corey Peters in the third round, and Peters, who signed with Atlanta on Tuesday, could see significant playing time early if Babineaux is suspended. The drop-off at the position could be significant if Peters, projected as a fifth- to sixth-round pick by PFW, has to fill in. Babineaux is considered the best three-technique in the NFC South and he made a career-high six sacks, which led the team, last season. He's signed through the 2013 campaign, but the Falcons, who are wary of negative media attention, won't show much patience if Babineaux gets into trouble again.
