The Bills announced Tuesday that they have signed seventh-round draft selection OL Kyle Calloway. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Calloway, the Bills’ second of two seventh-round draft picks and the 216th choice overall, started 37-of-39 games at Iowa. The 6-6, 323-pound offensive lineman was a second-team All-Big Ten Conference selection in 2008 and 2009.
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Calloway "has enough strength to anchor in pass protection and enough agility to handle the wide rush with chip help" but "plays soft and lacks a mean streak."
Calloway is the third of the Bills’ nine draft picks to sign with the team.
The Bills also announced that they have waived DB Stephan Virgil.
