The Bills have agreed on a contract with former Dolphins LB Reggie Torbor, the club's official Web site reported Saturday. Miami released Torbor on May 27.
Torbor played all 16 games for Miami in 2009, making 37 tackles, defending four passes and notching an interception and a sack. He played inside linebacker in the Dolphins' 3-4 scheme. However, the 6-2, 250-pound Torbor can also play outside linebacker, having played on the strong side for the Giants in a 4-3 scheme. Torbor played four seasons with New York (2004-07) before signing with Miami in 2008.
Torbor's LB coach in Miami, George Edwards, is the Bills' new defensive coordinator.
Terms of Torbor's contract were undisclosed.
