All three positions on the interior of the Dolphins' offensive line are open for competition, and there will be a crowded battle for the jobs that should heat up during training camp. Reports out of Miami's recent OTAs indicate head coach Tony Sparano is rotating players on and off the first-team offense, giving each player a look. Some expect offseason addition Richie Incognito to become the starter at right guard, where Donald Thomas started last season. Sparano has said he's looking for the game to slow down for Thomas as the player enters his third year, but Thomas could have a hard time hanging on to a starting job with rookie John Jerry pushing hard to start at left guard. Nate Garner is recovering from surgery on an undisclosed foot injury and also will be under consideration for the OLG spot when he returns to action in training camp. At center, Jake Grove and Joe Berger are competing head-to-head.
