The Buccaneers announced they have signed fourth-round pick WR Mike Williams to a four-year contract.
Williams, who quit the Syracuse football team in November, was the 101st overall selection.
"I love this game, so I urged my agent, Hadley Engelhard, to reach an agreement quickly," Williams said in a statement released by the team. "I am focused on the opportunity to contribute to the team and am very excited to be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer."
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that Williams "has the raw talent to become a solid possession receiver in the pros."
