The Eagles announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with RB Charles Scott on a four-year contract. Scott was the team's sixth-round draft pick.
The 5-11, 238-pound Scott played in 43 games for LSU, totaling 2,317 rushing yards on 434 carries (5.3 average) and 32 touchdowns. He played in the first nine games of the 2009 season before suffering a season-ending broken clavicle against Alabama.
In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that the Scott is "a three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust, complementary big back and short-yardage and goal-line runner who is coming off an injury but can find a role."
