QB Mark Sanchez returned to the field for the first time since undergoing knee surgery as the Jets held their first organized team activity of the offseason Monday, but reports indicate he was "limited" in practice.
Sanchez apparently participated in quarterback drills and was limited in 7-on-7 drills and was held out of full team drills. He underwent surgery on his left knee in February and just began running outdoors last week.
The practice was closed to the media.
"Mark looked good throwing the ball today," said CB Antonio Cromartie, per the Associated Press.
Sanchez has said he will be ready to fully participate in training camp.
