Saints ORT Jon Stinchcomb, who was voted to his first Pro Bowl last season, will undergo surgery after suffering a sports hernia, according to PFW correspondent Mike Triplett, a beat writer for the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The surgery will be conducted in Philadelphia on Friday, per the report.
Stinchcomb apparently sustained the injury while working out. He was supposed to host a charity golf outing Friday, but the report indicates he could not attend because of the surgery.
He's expected to recover in time for training camp, which opens July 29.
