Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik's comment that Doug Williams' decision to step down as coordinator of pro scouting was part of a front-office restructuring that is not yet complete set off speculation about who could be next to go in Tampa. Reports indicate the Bucs parted ways with pro personnel assistant Victor Green on Thursday, and college scouting director Dennis Hickey, and all the college scouts below him, are under scrutiny. Sources don't expect Hickey or any other high-level front-office personnel to be fired.

Dominik did not hint at who else could be let go or when he plans on completing the changes. He does plan on hiring a new coordinator of pro scouting, however, and there are rumors that former Browns GM George Kokinis is a candidate for the job. Williams said in a statement that he sat down and talked to Dominik and "felt that it was the right time" for him "to look at new options," but we hear some in the organization do not view Williams' departure as a major loss. He has not spoken to reporters since the announcement.
