The Jaguars have signed veteran free-agent LB Teddy Lehman to a contract. Lehman was one of eight players who participated in the club's minicamp earlier this month on a tryout basis.

The team also announced that DE Bryan Smith was waived/injured after suffering a knee injury during minicamp, and he is now on injured reserve.
Lehman, a seventh-year veteran, has played in 45 games with 16 starts since entering the NFL as a second-round draft pick of the Lions in 2004.  He has also spent time with the Buccaneers and Bills.
