Ravens OT Jared Gaither will undergo an MRI and see a foot specialist after missing the last two days of minicamp, according to the team's Web site.

Gaither was replaced at left tackle by Michael Oher on Friday and moved to right tackle, and he reportedly didn't take the field again after the switch. Although there were rumors that Gaither didn't finish practice because he was protesting the position switch or had been put on the trading block, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Gaither's absence was strictly due to his foot.

"He didn't tell me he was protesting or anything like that," Harbaugh told "We had a conversation about a lot of things like we always do, but the reason he didn't practice, based on what he told me, was the foot."

Buffalo has been mentioned a possible suitor for Gaither's services, but on Sunday The Baltimore Sun quoted Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome as saying that the team hadn't initiated any trade talks involving Gaither and, since the draft, has received "no trade offer worthy of serious consideration for any of our players."
