The Bengals announced the signing of CB Adam "Pacman" Jones and S Gibril Wilson on Monday. Both players agreed to terms with the club last week.
Jones, 26, was out of football last season after being released by the Cowboys in February 2009. He will compete for a reserve role at cornerback and as a returner. Jones worked out twice for the Bengals before signing with the club.
Jones played nine games for Dallas in 2008, missing six games after being suspended for getting into an altercation with his bodyguard. He was suspended for the entire 2007 season for violating the NFL's personal-conduct policy.
The 28-year-old Wilson started 14 games for Miami last season. He was released in March.
"We're excited to have Gibril join our secondary group," said Bengals DBs coach Kevin Coyle said in a statement released by the club. "He's a veteran who has played at a high level in the NFL and he brings us a lot of tools. He can play both safety positions, and he will compete for time and make our group better."
