The Colts announced Friday that rookie CB Kevin Thomas, the team's third-round pick in last month's draft, suffered a knee injury in the team's rookie camp that could cause him to miss the 2010 season.

Thomas, a 6-0, 192-pound defensive back from USC, was injured in the final practice of the April 30-May 2 camp that was held for draft picks and undrafted free agents. He is scheduled for surgery.

It was expected that he would add depth to a Colts secondary that saw Marlin Jackson and Tim Jennings depart via free agency this offseason.
