The Broncos are hoping OLT Ryan Clady will be ready to play by the time the regular season opens, but some estimates have him missing three months and then needing an additional month before he's ready to play in a game. Clady suffered a partial tear of a patellar tendon while playing basketball in late April and underwent surgery. If everything goes according to plan, he'll be prepared by the time the Sept. 12 opener rolls around.

If he encounters a setback or takes longer than expected to recover, Denver's top options include moving ORT Ryan Harris, who is recovering from a toe injury, to the left side, giving Tyler Polumbus a chance to start, or turning to second-round pick Zane Beadles. Polumbus did a decent job in eight starts at right tackle while Harris was out last season, and Beadles, a swingman on the O-line, played left tackle in college. Starting Polumbus or Beadles, however, isn't a scenario the Broncos would like to find themselves in.
