Free-agent S Gibril Wilson has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Bengals, agent Alvin Keels announced via Twitter on Thursday.
Wilson, 28, played in all 16 games for the Dolphins last season, starting 14. He has notched at least 93 tackles in each of the last five seasons.
The 6-foot, 205-pound Wilson, who has started 80 games in six NFL seasons, could be the Bengals' first safety off the bench behind FS Chris Crocker and SS Roy Williams. The Bengals had free-agent safeties Ken Hamlin and C.C. Brown in for visits last week.
Also on Thursday, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported the Bengals and free-agent CB Adam "Pacman" Jones are negotiating a two-year contract. Multiple media outlets have reported Jones is expected to sign with Cincinnati.
