After gauging his value on the open market, FS Darren Sharper has agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints, according to reports. The terms of the deal are not yet known.
Sharper tweeted, "To the entire WHO-DAT Nation, guess what? I'M BAACKK."
The 34-year-old met with the Jaguars last week, but he left town without a contract and decided to return to New Orleans, where he played a significant role in helping the Saints win a Super Bowl.
Sharper tied for the league lead with nine interceptions in 2009 and he scored three touchdowns.
