The Jaguars announced Monday the release of four players, including two-time Pro Bowl DT John Henderson. DT Montavious Stanley, LB Brian Iwuh and LB Tank Daniels were released as well. Jacksonville also rescinded a free-agent tender to LB Clint Ingram, making him an unrestricted free agent.

The release of Henderson was expected after GM Gene Smith was unsuccessful in his attempts to trade the veteran tackle during draft weekend.

Henderson, a first-round pick by the Jaguars in 2002, started 120 games in Jacksonville, recording 29 sacks. He was a Pro Bowler in '04 and '06, but his productivity had declined the past few seasons. With the Jaguars using their first four picks in this year's draft on defensive linemen and getting an outstanding rookie season from Terrance Knighton in '09, Henderson was considered to be expendable.

Ingram, who declined to sign a $1.266 million restricted free-agent tender before the draft, was a third-round pick by the Jaguars in '06. He started 46 games in four seasons with the club.

Stanley, a fifth-year veteran, saw action in 15 games in '09, tallying 20 tackles and one sack.

Iwuh played in 58 games with three starts since joining the club as an undrafted rookie in '06.

Daniels was signed last December and saw his only action with the club in Week 17 at Cleveland.
