The Jaguars continued to bolster their defense on Saturday as they traded their fourth-round pick to the Raiders for ILB Kirk Morrison and Oakland's fifth-round pick. Oakland selected Clemson WR Jacoby Ford with the pick.
Morrison, a sixth-year veteran, has led the Raiders in tackles the past four seasons. He recently signed his restricted free agent tender but became expendable when Oakland selected Alabama ILB Rolando McClain eighth overall.
The Jaguars have been searching for LB help considering that Justin Durant and Clint Ingram struggled in 2009.
