The Titans and DT Tony Brown have agreed on a multi-year contract, the club announced Thursday. According to The Associated Press, the contract is for three years and $17 million.

Brown, 29, has been an effective interior pass rusher since moving into the Titans' starting lineup full-time in 2007. He notched a career-high five sacks last season.

Brown (6-3, 290) played for Miami, San Francisco and Carolina before signing with Tennessee in 2006.
