DE Jimmy Wilkerson has agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints, according to reports. The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported that the contract is worth around $2 million.
Wilkerson, 29, made 11 of his 12 career sacks during the past two seasons, which he spent with the Buccaneers. He's the second veteran defensive end New Orleans has added since cutting DE Charles Grant and it appears that the team will focus on other areas of need in this week's draft. The Saints signed former Bears DE Alex Brown earlier this month.
